Order a Subaru charging cable cheaply

There are more and more electric cars on the Dutch roads. In order to charge your electric Subaru, you need a charging cable. Of course, you can find all Subaru charging cables with us; the largest charging cable giant in the Netherlands.

Which connection do I need?

There are three different types of charging cable connections, but in Europe Type 2 is so standard that it is the most common type. Are you planning to go on holiday to the south of France or Italy? Then definitely take a Type 3 charging cable with you; many of the charging points there are outdated. You only need to consider Type 1 connections for Japanese and American cars; these connections on charging points are not or hardly ever found in Europe.

Please note that one of the plugs on the charging cable must fit your electric car and the other end must be suitable for a Type 2 connection or a wall socket if you want to charge at home on the standard network.

Other features of a Subaru charging solution

When choosing a Subaru charging cable, it is not just about the type of connection. You should also consider the charging capacity of the charging cable and the length of the cable itself. There are charging cables that charge on 1 phase, while other cables use 3 phases. You can also choose between 16A (16 amps) or 32A (32 amps). Since not all Subaru models can be charged with 32A, it is good to pay attention to this.

As for the cable length, you can choose between cables of two to fifteen meters. If the car is standardly next to the charging point, then a cable of up to four meters is often sufficient. If you charge in different places, then a longer cable is a better choice to be on the safe side. During charging, you should always try to prevent the cable from hanging in the air. This is unsafe and not good for the charging point and the contact point in the car.
