Ready for 22 kW: faster charging, smarter investing

The standard for home charging is now 11 kW, but many electric cars and installations are already prepared for 22 kW. With a 22 kW charging station, you immediately benefit from higher charging speeds if your car supports it – and you are prepared for a future with flexible energy rates. This allows you to charge when electricity is cheapest, or even negatively priced. Especially in combination with solar panels, this provides significant advantages.

Flexibility in use and installation

The Growatt THOR series is available with a fixed charging cable or socket. Many users deliberately choose a model with a socket: the charging cable is the most vulnerable part and easy to replace if it is loose. The charging station is suitable for all EVs with Type 2 connection and supports mode 3 charging.

With an IP65 rating, it can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The housing is robust, the design modern and unobtrusive. You get a 3-year manufacturer's warranty as standard.

Connectivity & PV integration

The THOR charging station is fully ready for smart charging. Via WiFi, Ethernet or optional 4G you can easily connect the system to a back office, charging card provider or your own network. Thanks to the PV Linkage Mode you use your own solar power to the maximum - completely without grid load if your installation allows it. In addition, there are handy modes such as:

• Off-Peak Mode – charging during off-peak hours
• Fast Mode – maximum charging capacity
• Smart Mode – automatic adjustment based on your consumption

Smart integration in your IoT environment

The THOR charging station is compatible with Growatt's GroHome IoT platform. Via the ShinePhone app you can manage your charging planning, see real-time data and set smart schedules. Integration with voice control and energy management systems is prepared as standard.

Safety first

All Growatt THOR charging stations are CE-approved and meet the applicable European safety standards. Thanks to built-in earth leakage protection (AC and DC), the charging station is also suitable for models such as the Renault Zoe that have additional requirements for grid safety.
